Présentation :

This panel will focus on the American occupation of East Asia after the Second World War, how it shaped justice for crimes committed during the war, and the reception of this “justice of the victors” at the regional level.

Barak Kushner (Cambridge University) and Adam Cathcart (Leeds University) will present their unpublished work in progress.

The discussion will be led by Florence Galmiche (Université Paris-Cité/CCJ-CRC), Michael Lucken (Inalco/IFRAE) and Fabrice Virgili (Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne/Sirice).
